Mission Statement:
Particularly as Catholics, but also as Christians sharing a common heritage and commitment to Jesus Christ in His Church, we look for those things that unite us, rather than those that tear us apart, so that we might live out the prayer of Jesus: That all may be one . . . (John 17:21)

Description of Ministry:
As a diocesan commission we seek to share our faith perspectives with those of other Christian churches as well as with people of good will who are embraced by a variety of religious experiences. Under the Bishop`s guidance, we see our work as inspired by the Second Vatican Council and its developmental heritage that seeks unity at every level and in every place.

Director`s Message:
Our Commission wants to respond to the gift of God`s grace in us as a working group that promotes the possibilities of greater oneness. Through study and reflection, through common liturgies and experiences, we want to show that Christian unity and religious harmony are not only possible, but are to be both desired and celebrated as we enter the new millennium together.
